Ive been searching and searching for ideas on holders for my bassboat. Well I bought my house from a ag teacher and he had left alot of stuff in the barn. So I went searching thru the stuff the other day and hit pay dirt. He has a bunch of sheep equipment that he welded together. They are to hold the sheep in place while he shaved them. I cut and bent the rods and turned them into rod holders. Im going to clean them up and paint them but they should work good.

seeing that little chain on the back left side gave me an idea - get a small amount of chain for both back corners. stake the chain into the ground and you got a good bank rod holder kit.

I do a lot of river fishing from the back seat of a flat bottom jon boat with a seat mount on each side. I use 3 rods, 2 big ones baited with perch, or large pieces of cut bait and a smaller rod baited with catalpa worm or night crawlers. I made this rod holder so I can keep my little rod close to me so I can put a hook in those little bait snitchers lips!

seeing that little chain on the back left side gave me an idea - get a small amount of chain for both back corners. stake the chain into the ground and you got a good bank rod holder kit. The way this is built is perfect for boat or shore. With the stand being infront it wont tip over

With the stand being infront it wont tip over i was thinking to stake it into the ground for those cold, windy/blistery days that i sure hope winter gives us!
