I now have a place to get bamboo, so I got me a small bundle and made 5 condos to sink in lake 'x' what do yall think? This is only a picture of a few, but they're basically identical.

They look great to me .... That is exactly how I make mine. I drop 3 at a location in a diamond shape. This will give you a 18'-20' diameter. Or drop one, and add to them as you see which location starts producing best. But they look great...

If you would like to get a little more diameter oiut of your Boo, just cut 5 V notches in the top of the bucket. That will allow you to spread the branches a little farther.

they are nice ......but if you want a tip or 2
take a skill saw to the buckets and half them .....
uses lots less concrete and you get a much wider spread
and a very exp. person told me to use thick stalks instead of the lighter stuff because it will be in the lake alot longer
my first three were lighter brush like yours
the next 2 were heavy stalks
i sank them at 13 foot and the lake dropped ,,,, they are in 11 foot now and the entire world seems to be slammin limits out of them right now .....
i sank them in rows
