It work ok if u put right rod holders on it and even better if u put a rod bar across back.....the doghouse over the motor kinda sucks but I'd yank the fold down seats and put 2 pedestal mount swivel seats for more room.....I don't like shallow bass boat style boats..... Deeper v or trihulls .........Center Consoles have most fishing room but they're ain't many poorboy center consoles..... I don't have a boat myself yet but have been out on several types with various TFF'rs. cheers

I have delt with cars like this a lot but not a boat, they should work the same way.

You will have to get the boats re titled. A pain sure but if it gets you a better deal smegh.

Go to tax office with boat registration or vin number. Ask for the last year of registration and the titled owner make sure it matches what the seller is telling you. Also see if they will release an address or phone number to you.

Contact the previously registrant or owner. Make sure they know the story you are getting from the seller.

The process legally works like this.

Buy boat
Title 49 ( I believe) the boat this means it had no title you want a new title as a new owner.
They will send a letter to the last owner/register.
They have 30 days to reply to the letter and argue the sale.
If the last owner argues the sale it becomes a court battle where THEY have to prove the boat was stolen etc.
Possession is 9/10 of the law so if you do your home work there is no reason you can't work this out.
If he owner doesn't argue the sale or contact inside the time frame the boat becomes yours.
This is also the process shops use to take your property when you don't pay your bill.

If the sellers story doesn't match the history back out. Most people don't know how to or don't want to do the work for this. It is extra time but well worth a great deal.

I could say more but I hate typing on this iPad!!!

Good luck!!!

tpwd is to tough to even try... for some of the boats its just not worth it. my suggestion is just buy with title, and bill of sale. you will be better off. good luck on your search. there is decent boats out there to be had. just take your time. remember its you in it, not us. you have to be happy. again good luck
