I want to say that when I bought one for my Maxxum, the shaft cost around $50, it was in 2010 though..

I had one quoted to me for about $60 and installed for another $40...I could be off $20 or so. Call Ray at R1 Bass 409-898-2277.

they are lifetime warranty but you can not get it shipped to you unless your a repair facility, this is why I left minn kota for motor guide.
if your part of hw in your sig then they should ship you one.

Depending on the shaft, it will retail for between $18.00 and $30.00. MinnKota does have a lifetime warranty on the shaft to the original purchaser, and after the initial warranty of the trolling motor, the consumer pays the labor to have it installed. A tap is used to clean the thread that has been locktited in. Hope this helps
