Awesome family and friends stories ! Ok I'll tell my best fishing day story, fishing a private Rock pit with a buddy, by the light of the full moon, casting crank baits parralel to the bank, we both caught upwards of 75 fish a piece, the largest probably 5 pounds, but there's just something about catching fish in the dark when you can't see it coming. The other would have to be fishing behind Denison damn ( same buddy, also in the dark ) at Texhoma, wading in the dark piching live shad and catching well over 50 Striper, up to 8 lb.'s and losing probably the same amount, we were laughing the whole time.

Like others said, it's hard to pick one, but three of my best days were...
1. LOP Oct 2010, fishing with my wife, Jamee. We fished the lake 3 days, and one evening just before sundown, we got into a school. She caught about 10 in a row and watching the excitement and fun on her face was amazing! 2. Watching Greg catch his 10.03 PB on Mill Creek, Apr 2011! 3. Watching David catch his 9.2 PB on Mill Creek, Feb 2012!
Don't mean to leave you out Dad (RIP). I had lots of GREAT days fishing with you too! These are just easier for me to remember these days.

Way too many but I would go with this one. While stationed in the azores me and friend took a week trip to another island and had a charter boat take us marlin fishing for two days. It costs me an arm and leg but worth every penny. Anyways we set out first light make the 80 miles run, the deck hand got maybe 3-4 of the 6 rods in the water before the first bite! I get the hook set and look up and see a marlin dancing on the water! I couldn't even reel just watched in amazment. Then I start reeling and 20 min later got my one and only white marlin to the boat and released.

Mine would probably have to be the day I took my girlfriend to a local pond and she caught her first fish. I was fishing along side her, but was really focusing on helping her get a bite. She has been a handful of times before but never had a good hook set, so she had her doubts. She finally got a good hookset and was so stoked! For the next few hours and even days, she would randomly bring up her memory of achievement. I have had a fair share of amazing times myself but seeing her so happy really touched my heart

Best day bass fishing day was at 777 ranch I caught 34 fish off one stump! It was the most amazing 3 hrs I had ever had. A lot of 3 to 5's and one about 8! Crappie day was bellow lavon dam and I caught a limit of huge slabs in about two hrs while no one else could catch a cold! Best sandies and and hybrid day was on rowlett creek with a buddy and I limiting on both in 1.5 hrs!!!
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Number of fish for one. Cedar Creek after a tornado in about 1994. First of May, big cold front. Prefish day we literally shook off over 200 fish. Day of the tournament we caught probably 100 keepers. Wound up 4th with 17.75'#. Now thats a heck of a day!!!!!!! I would kill to have that good of a day on cedar creek much less any other lake

id say my best fishing trip was Lake O.H. Ivie 2009. We didnt catch many fish but i caught my first DD and it was the one of the best feelings i have ever had. I could not stop shaking and could barely hold her up. Caught her on a rattle trap in the concho river i watched her shallow the trap 4 feet from the boat. it was crazy. And one day on Cedar Creek between 4 people we had 150 hybrids and whites in 4hrs. With 20+ 8lb hybrids

When I was a kid my dad took me to a pond (No longer exists) we caught about 100 Bull head, channel catfish and crappie. That pond was amazing, but now there is a mall in its place.

I fished one Memorial Day at choke canyon by myself. I sat in one spot from 7 in the morning till 7 in evening. I estimate that I caught 250 bass. They would hit just about any kind of bait. When I would see someone coming I would put my rod down and act like I was eating a sandwich. That was one heck of a hole and was for years.

I had days of over 100 bass all over 4lbs in a day in the winter with friends, days of over 300 crappie in the day and days of we lost count of sandies and hybrids from tawokini but best day ever i think was about 4 years ago when i went back home to iowa to see my dad and my brother showed up as well even thou he lives in arizona and we all went to the river and fished together. Even growing up we mostly lived in seperate houses or to busy doing other things to get together. That day was great and so was the fishing, just fishing the river from the bank catching walleye and smallmouth and trading stories of where we live now, not knowing that day was the best of all of them.
