 Surf fishing pole distance ?

Going to San luis pass in 2 weeks with my buddy , We want to set up a 3 to 4 surf poles out with 3 to 4 oz spider weight with live bait , How far should the poles be placed between each other ?? Casting about 75-80 yards out

We always put ours 15 feet or so I guess apart. Nothing major . Just enough keep lines from tangling in current
I can backlash toilet paper.

I usually put my poles about 6-10 feet apart on the beach, but then I cast them pretty far apart. I like to have at least 50 yards between where each line sits in the water.
