I was there a couple of weeks ago and it was a fish boil. The water temp at the spillway was 100 degrees and the rest of the lake was in the high 90's. We were there all day and caught one four pounder and a couple of dinks. It's tough with the water so hot.

SANDLIN IS FISHING FAIR, LOTS OF FISH ON CRANKS, MOSTLY SMALL, if u want to catch lots of fish go to cypress, and throw a small crank on windy banks, caught probably 75-100 fish sunday in a tourney, lots of big spots, had one that was 2.75lbs, pulled like a freight train
