Well didn't get skunked this time! Thank god! Got on the water at about 7am and fished the flats east of RP. Caught a few nice hybrids and a couple of sandies before the action died down. Seen Jeff Craft out there and fished with him for a few and then we headed over to the jetti where JV had been wearing em out. Off the water by 10am. All fish caught between 6-18ft on 1/2oz Wahoo Jigin shad white. Sure hope they are hungy next week for the kidos.

Thats encouraging to hear! I heard Twok was good this morning also. The weather was ideal this morning with lots of cloud coverage.

Great fishing with you this morning Jeff. I headed down south for get a few kitties for lunch. I headed back up north about 10:30 or 11:00 or so. Picked up a bunch more big sandies at Roberts, they were scattered and came up for awhile. Had to add a jig above the 1.5 oz Godfather to get them really going. Birds worked really good today. I headed in about noon.
Thanks for the call John Varner, I was a little late getting over there. I have a bad habit of throwing the phone in the glove box where I can't hear it. Needed Dr Whiplash to copilot, he keeps the lines open.
Got to try out my new Ipilot, WOW, should have been the first new add-on not the last. Worked great when you get on them by locking it down. Its for sure a game changer when on schools. But as always 2 steps forward one step back, major interference with side scan. I guess this is a somewhat common problem. Will get on that one real soon.

I would give Paul a call if you havent already. Congrats on the iPilot. It makes holding the boat and unhooking fish MUCH MUCH easier.
