Hey guys go to "Get A Limit Outdoors" and watch the video on one of new features on HDS Gen2 Touch has. On how to make individual lake wpt files.. WPT management just got whole lot easier with the new Gen2 Touch. http://getalimitoutdoors.com/

Jason,does the " Touch LSS2 " have the two transducers like the HDS with LSS1 ?

Old coach.. it will have connection on the back of unit for the reg 2d sonar transducer and another for LSS transducer.

Hello Jason,
Can you tell us if there are any future changes coming from Lowrance on the transducer/s. As we all know the size of the LSS2 transducer is rather large. Will there be a change that will incorporate the 2D sonar transducer with the LSS transducer? It is nice to see the LSS module is now incorporated into the unit itself.
Also currently the only model showing with the structurescan transducer is the HDS-7. Will this be available in the 9 and 12 Touch models?

Also, it looks like while the structure scan is built in, we'd still need to purchase a structure scan transducer separately. Can that be right?
If so, the real price is actually $300 more unless you already have a Lowrance with a structure scan transducer. For new adopters, structure scan may be "built in", but it's by no means "included" in the price.
The current Gen 1 or Gen 2 owners would then be required to buy structure scan again if they upgrade to touch because it's "built in." At least they don't have to buy another transducer I guess.
Interesting. I really am interested in this, but I'm not a huge fan of the marketing unless I'm reading this incorrectly.
