Went to one of my favorite spots on Lake Dunlap and fished from 12:30pm till 5:00p.m. The water was muddy/stained due to all the rain. I even had to wait out a quick moving thunder storm that dropped another quarter of an inch of rain in the New Braunfels/Seguin area. The Rio bite was good. Caught 17 good size Rios that were in the 9 to 10 inch range. The fish were holding close to structure. I also caught 3 nice Redear in the 8 to 9 inch range and several small Bluegill rounded out the catch. I had one break off that was probably a big Catfish. All fish were caught using ultra light with bottom techniques. Fish were caught on worms and all were released to fight again. Fish were in 4 to 5 feet of water. Starting a week catching Rios! It don't get any better than that.

looks like good times gets much better specially when it rains bite is on for while until everything is washed up .

Thanks "Tun3r" for the reply. I think the bite could have been a little better if the water was more clear. The fish were hitting good and the bite was aggressive. I think we are in for a super fall!
