Anyone know if there are any campsites and facilities on Naconiche...or if there are plans for any in the near future?

The only camping allowed is by permit from the Parks Board.

Quote:
Sec. 114-246. - Camping.
At this time, camping activities are prohibited in Lake Naconiche Park unless the person and/or organization has applied for (and been granted) a permit with the Parks Board with subsequent approval by the Commissioners Court. An application for a permit shall include a sponsoring organization.

There are no "camping spots" that have been designed into the park. frown

I think I remember reading somewhere that they are planning to build camp areas soon.

As far as I know, they don't have any yet.

Talked to the gentleman at the entrance 2 or 3 weeks ago, he said that they have plans for camping but it would be awhile before it happens. No $$$$$$ to fund it.

If work was as much fun as fishing, I'd LOVE my job!
