Got me a small split ring pliers. Tryin to figure out how it works. Not havin much success. Any tips please

split the ring open and start taking the old hook off, at the same time put the eye of the new treble in behind the old hook and just keep turning the split ring. The new hook gets put on as the old one gets off.

This is the truth, for sure. I took a pair of my split ring pliers and grounds down the jaws to make them fit into even smaller split rings.

The Texas Tackle split ring pliers are far and away better than any others I have had---large or small split rings.

Anyone in rockwall area have the Texas tackle pliers? Lady at bass pro said they didn't have them when I was there earlier today
