I have seen all around this forum that a 2.5 squarebill is a great bait to go to in the fall. My question where does this lure shine? Is this a back of the creek lure?

Shallow to mid depth cover. I like the 1.5 better though.

I think of fall as buzzbaits and wake baits.
I am not going to give to much info away, but a certain color H20 wakebait in the Saltwater series has been getting crushed lately. I can throw a sexyshad LC RC 1.5 wake bait and catch them, then throw that H20 in that saltwater color and they eat it so much better.

I would say cranks with rattles or the square bills with some noise, reason being the shad movement is so heavy you want your bait to have more attention then the shad do. I have a lucky craft I added rattle to and also using a Stanford Cedar Lure that I drilled a small Bering into for boyuncey and rattle,

This bait works great around docks shallow points and around wood. Throw it in areas where the bait dish have moved into clear water I would throw swim bait though

So what is this bait and color? Have not been on here in awhile and I live in Indiana so you can tell me!!
