Haven't crappie fished in a while and don't want to spend a ton of money at tackle shop trying to find it..?? Thanks!

I usually pick up 1/16oz road runner jig heads at Walmart or Academy and pair them with big bite slab tubes. My bud ketchn uses slab bandits from crazy angler tackle purchased online. Bobby Garlands work too.

Luck to you!

A few plain, sicle-hook, 1/16oz & 1/8oz jigs and an assortment of Crazy Angler Slab Bandits and you're set!

All the above mentioned jigs are great. You'll catch more fish with those super sharp sickle hook jigs from slab bandits and sometimes a "do nothing" plastic like the slab bandits or BGs are best.

It may be worth mentioning for those on a tight budget that there are days when the 10 cent wally world crappie jigs produce too.

I have both hand tied jigs as well as Slab Bandits so take your choice.

Just take a look at my web site.

Whatever you have confidence in, will get you bit! Sickle hooks seem to help with the hookup ratio... 2cents
