 Ok so I found this snake in my truck. What is it?

Ok so I found this snake in my truck was going to let it go at the ranch. Went to load corn at the feeds store and no one would help me. Go figure.

looks like a corn snake...harmless Yeah think so.He seemed to like when I scratched him under the chin..

Lol yea they do not like to be tickled! Tried that once

Why does everyone say "kill it" or "shotgun please"? Let's kill all lions, tigers, and bears(oh my!) etc... I'm sure everything will be better off Dorothy(maybe Nancy is better). Oh and your dog might bite me, so I better just kill it too. Good idea. You hope your dog bites an uninvited person, but what are you in the snake habitat?

He is well on his way to be a hat band for me and my son.Or maybe a rod wrap. I have been wanting to make a custom rod with snake skin from a rattler/copperhead and a coral snake. And call is death from above.

Hard to tell on an IPhone, but that to me looks like a diamondback rattler...can't see it good though.
