looks like somes pet got out look up sulcata tortoise aka African spurred tortoise pretty sure thats what you have and its kinda old they will hit around 100lb's

Looks like one I saw at a pet store last week in Mabank, TX. they said it was from africa & live like 300 years. I am actually stopping there this afternoon, I will look at them & get the name.

this ^^^^^ one of my sprinkler clients has one that he bought his 5 year old son. His son is now 25 and the turtle weighs in at a little over a hundred pounds. It will eat a whole watermelon in twenty minutes.

That is cool.I would love to find that in my back yard.

Here is a picture of a Texas Tortoise that I took at the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge near Harlingen. The shell doesn't seem to have the pronounced points on the top.
