Personally, I use the TackleSmith. Shawn does good work.

P.S. Shawn doesn't paint reels, but he knows someone that does (I believe it's Oscar's Custom Baits). You should confirm that with Shawn.

We offer the service at our shop. Our reel repair guy picks up and drops off weekly. He doesn't do painting but we know someone who does.

Shawn Smith of the Tacklesmith or Anglers Pro Tackle... either way shawn does the work. never a complaint.

Shawn did some work for me a couple of years ago. He did a great job. A couple of my reels felt like brand new.
