Yeah I saw that you can get to the water pretty easy. I spent a few hours out there with no luck.

I catch Bass there every visit...at least 2 times a month. Never more than a couple of hours - some dinks, some not...
- but there are good size fish there - accidently have caught channel cats (> 5, < 10), My kid caught a couple off huge crappie
while flipping at submerged branches; had a drum/gaspergoo jack my spinnerbait up -
- went there because of the kudo(s) one of the moderators gives this place and it's good body of water, keep trying.

cat bite is pretty good rt now. water in river is up and that is always a good.
Good bass, sandies and crappie here too. I have caught my share and more here over the years.
