Crappie is the best eating fish ever and they are fun to catch!!! I am Truly addicted to the "Thump" I have eaten many Crappie but never did the catching. I have a freezer full now that i caught and they seem to taste soooo much better!  Just a bit of Flour then Corn meal and Tony Chachere's.

i have never ate crappie. i hears its the best. but i cant see
how it gets any better than eater sized channel cats

More of a Challenge and a Blast to catch.. And it's milder than the cat's. I like both but my wife only like's Crappie, So Crappie it is and no fishy smell makes me like it even better.

Plus i only use Jigs. Not a fan of live,cut,or stink/punch bait.
