Well had a tank of gas that's been setting there since March so thought I better run it out before it goes bad so I went fishing.
Wasn't sure I would remember how to throw the net that wasn't the hard part finding where I put it was !
Got out there a little before sun up caught some shad and headed for shallow water . Sure was nice to smell the lake! Caught 22 fish , 3 good Channels and the rest blues. Biggest around 15 with most in the 4-8 lbs range. Had some gas left so headed out to deep water and follow Johnny around for an hour or so catching sand bass. Been so long since I had fished my line was rotten on my sand bass poles had to borrow a pole from Johnny! Boat ran like I used it every day . All in all was nice to be out there and enjoy the morning .

Yea Bob , if I'm going to get back into fishing I might try those new reels your selling. Do they come with a free rod ? Lol
Fishing should be real good tomorrow with all this rain

I'll be out in a field trying to knock down a bunch of dove. Monday should be pretty good too.
