Yesterday (09/28/12) I assisted BostonBob with a six man guide trip (actually only five showed up). The morning was just perfect. The wind was non-existent, cloud cover, and mild temperatures meant a very comfortable day on the water. It was about 9 AM before we got on the water. First stop and first drop produced fish. The slab and flies-by-night was what they wanted all day. Fish were on every stop we made. Some areas were better than others. Check out the deep humps if you go anytime soon. The depth that produced was either side of 40 feet. Some were suspended, but most were hugging the bottom. It did not take long to arrive at the five man limit. After that it was catch and release. The first photo shows a couple of bonus fish Bob got in his boat. We cleaned four blues (or Bob did). The second photo is the group of outlaws we put up with yesterday. laugh The guy in the blue shirt is Matt. He has been on the TFF since I have been. Do not think he is very active at the present.
Anyway, we had a great day with some very good fishermen. Wish all trips were as good.
Ray Roberts is a great white bass lake. I just wish it was a little closer to home. The day took 12 hours of my time and 125 miles on the odometer.

Plenty of parking at the State Park.

Way to go DTA and Boston Bob! You both know how to get folks on fish and have a great time doing it.

Those fish never stood a chance with the two of you guiding. Glad your customers got more than expected.
