YEs lots of difference. You get what you pay for in polarication and UV Protection in Lenses.

No help here thats all I`ve ever had $15,20 signature pair so unless somebody gives me a pair of $150+ I`ll never know, they`d have to be floaters cause if they went in the water I`d be plenty pissed and be sayn can`t believe I spent that kinda money

Suggest you go to a place that sells high end sun glasses and try on several different manufacturers products. You'll be amazed at the difference. Personally I have owned several pair of Maui Jims and absolutely love them, keep a pair in my truck, a pair on my boat and a pair for backup. Also, get you one of the floater straps that attach to the end of the ear pieces...you may not like the look, I don't either but, it sure has saved me from losing them on more than one occasion. One other thing, if you have glasses, you can get reading lens from Maui Jim in standard reading glasses strengths and I believe even custom made lenses. I don't have to switch to reading glasses with my Maui Jims and that is a Godsend!

As has been said, you get what you pay for. Not only is the polarization better, but you will be getting optical quality lenses which will reduce eyestrain, better quality frames, etc. Take a look at Solar Bat sunglasses. They are high quality glasses in several different price points and the owner is an optometrist. Their Mossback lens tint was made specifically for fishing and is what I use most of the time. They also have several patented lens tints which are very unique. They have an Mossback and Amber gradient lens. These lenses have either Mossback or Amber at the top and they change to high contrast yellow at the bottom. If you get in the shade or lower light conditions, you can just tilt your head and look thru the Hi Con Yellow for a better view. I use the Amber gradient for fishing and running the boat in low light conditions and early in the morning.

So what is the best quality at the best price in your opinions? I would look at the Browning Eyewear. They have some really good affordable eyewear. The new M-PAct with Zeiss Lens are really awesome lens technology.
