+1 TX Basser. I think the marriage is great but would love to hear the other sides argument against it for whatever reason. As long as it is in good taste, I do not see the problem. One can never have too much information. Throw it all out there and let the masses make up their own minds about what is right and what is wrong. JMO

I've known the Sealy family way back when Bob's dad was a judge in Limestone county. I remember when he first started up the big bass tournaments. He has paid his dues. Tx Basser has eat breakfast and had his morning coffee at my house before.

Would reply to my earlier post but I see it got deleted along with a few posts directed to my comments so...

Great news for the East Texas economy and fishing in general.

When in doubt, jerk.

I thought the op is about the merge not the sealy family and who deserves or doesn't deserve what.

I had quite a few questions for Bob when I met him at the event on Saturday...he was awesome to talk with. Excited about the future and patient with my questions.

Sunday was an excellent presentation...seeing the dude sit in the boat he won was very awesome....smiling ear to ear for sure.

Mr. Sealy announced the partnership prior to the Sunday final weigh in...very cool stuff.

I will fish this next year...neat event.

I always saw it as a pain in the arse having that kind of traffic on the lake and all. My view on this has changed a little!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I think it will be good all the way around.

But can you imagine Bob Sealy AND Dave Mercer on stage during the final day weigh in/drawing/prize giveaways of those tournaments? That will be the most exciting 4 hours in bass fishing!
