Plan on fishing off the dock on Lower Mountain fork river this week. we will be downstream on warmer water than in the Trout zones up by beaver bend. Any ideas on what to throw or maybe fish on the bottom? Im not sure what type of fish are in the river. someone Please help me... thanks!

I swear I caught so many fish that the water level went down!

Usually when I fish from docks I always start fishing right under em. You never know what is under a dock waiting for a meal. I fish the edges first by just dropping a bait usually a worm and just bouncing it off of the bottom. I then work my way from the dock with the same technique. Also try to find a drop off. Usually there is a drop off a little ways from the end of the dock. Fish usually stack at the edges of drop offs. Hope this helps out. Good luck. fish

You will find that the water is amazingly clear. We fished from a dock and caught LMB on spinnerbait and my son caught perch worm under a bobber.I heard you can catch catfish in the deeper parts of the river. I highly recommend renting a kayak by the day so you can cover more water. yippie kayo kayaks will bring the kayak to your cabin. good luck
