Great idea JV. I've had the opportunity to be apart of several cities NNO celebrations. We do a lot of highlight videos for different cities - they submit them to the NNO committee and get big grants, etc.

NNO has been huge in other parts of the nation, even in other parts of the metroplex. The city of Coppell has won the NNO City award being #1 IN THE NATION - a few years. It's a great way to get out and meet your neighbors and the people around your neighborhood. Meet people, make your neighborhoods safer, watch out for others, etc.

I encourage as many folks to attend your neighborhood NNO events. In a nut shell, they are big block parties. If your area isn't celebrating, hit of this one.

Im new here on the forum but have grew up and lived around Ray Hubbard all my life. I think stocking Hubbard is a great idea and my donation will be given shortly. I have a EZ Up "pop-up" tent/shelter that you could use if needed. I am working that day but can drop it off in the morning if needed.

Famous Amous is this one that is open on all four sides. If so this could be very useful! Can you pm me a picture so I can pass the info along to whomever is going to build our booth.

Just a thought but why not set up a computer monitor or tv and show some of the video of you guys on the water and or on the dock get togethers you have.Showing what a great group of guys you all are and your common bond is a selling point to this organization.JMO

I got a back drop for the booth yesterday if you guys like it. I was busy and didnt have time to take a picture yesterday but will try to today. It's about 8' wide and 8' tall we can hang the banner off it with shirts and hats if there ready. I think it looks pretty cool.

we need a big table and a table skirt.

I have a folding table I could lend to ya. I think its 8', but will check tonight and let you know. I also have a 10' popup shade if ya need it.

I am also working on a "few" things to bring out for you guys to add to the goody bags for people. John knows about it... Hopefully will have a bunch done by then.
