I'm going to be on Hubbard this weekend as well. Any tips would be appreciated. I drive pass 30 every morning about 7:30am, haven't seen very many boats or birds out lately. Got a new HB 597 HD, hopefully I will be able to find a few.

Ran out tonight with Blue Tuna, Terry, and neighbor Mark. Got some nice sandies and two larger hybrids at the Gravel Pit.... Was a beautiful night out. Fished from 5:30 to 7:00... Good luck.

It was a great evening on the lake, fishing with friends at the end of a long day!

hey fellas I have heard about the pits down on the south east side of the lake, and would like to fish them. Are they closer to Yankee or Rush creeck?

Down past Rush Creek. If you have Navionics on your graph you can find it by looking for the shallower areas on your map. It looks like a small circle the shallowest area. It's called it Sweet-16 since it's 16 feet deep. That's your starting point then fish around there....

Just curious but are the locations referred to as the peanut, gravel pit, Yankee and Rush Creek marked own maps or are they areas that fisherman have found and named themselves.
Thanks

Thanks for the info and map photo. I've never heard of "Fishing Hot Spots" is it a good map? Would you recommend it?
Thanks Again
