I have had it for 8 years on a 1995 481VS Ranger. Only had one claim, bent prop shaft, by a stump at Chaney on Fork. Dropped boat off for repairs at the service place. Adjuster went to there to have a look see. All was taken care of with no problems at all. Good experience no haggling. Best price I could get.

All in all A+ for me.

I love them. Three lower units and one fiberglass job. They have paid like clockwork. I ask when they were going to drop me and they just laughed and ask if I bass fished, I said yes they said they expect some repairs on bass fishing boats and then said they weren't going to drop me. This was 2 years ago.

Bad experience with them, i made a claim for a lower unit thanks to a stump on Falcon.
Called Progessive the following week, the adjuster called me back and wanted to know why I hit the stump, why didn't i go around it; told him it was under water and didn't see it, that I should have studied the lake before i went and he also called my fishing partner and ask him the same questions.
They finally covered after about 3 weeks of this, then renewal came around and doubled my policy..!
I am now with Travelers.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Progressive. But Bob Luellen is my agent. You can bet a policy through Bob is written the right way to protect YOU. And, if you do have a claim, Bob will be right there to work with you to ensure Progressive handles your claim quickly.

I dumped BoatUS for jacking the rates up 15% each year for two years, and I dumped Progressive for similar increases, although they were a lot cheaper in the beginning.

I called Bob Luellen on the BBC boards and got a much better deal. And he knows bass boats.

Bob is the guy you call if you have a claim. He has a lot of satisfied customers on BBC.

Progressive is great, I've had a couple of claims that they handled extremely quick... one was a total loss claim. Gotta love the disappearing deductible too. smile

Peter Lewis is no longer running Progressive Insurance so his liberal views are no longer calling the shots so the Snopes plug is worthless today, Peter used to give equal amounts to the Republican canadates as he did the Dems because he wanted to be on the winning side I used to work in their IT department GREAT company to work for ! and we heard all the scuttle butt on Peters adventures, I used to get a kick out of his weed shenanigans that man loves his weed..LOL

I didnt get a discount but I do insure my boat with them and used to insure my motorcycle before I sold it...the big thing I like about Progressive is everything is on-line, no need to fuss with an agent !!!

Bob is my agent also. Good rates for the coverage I wanted. I feel sure Bob will take care of you. All of his office staff that I have talked with have been very nice to deal with.

My boat was broken into while in my permanent slip in a big marina. Progressive adjuster was great to deal with and they took care of me without problem. I like them a lot.

Progressive and State Farm are the best to work with from my prospective. Easy to work with and quick to pay.

I have Progressive...although I have not had a claim personally. My wife is an insurance agent that handles a lot of claims for several companies and progressive honors their policies.
