I agree with the 25% rule...but here's mine anyway.
2012 Ford FX4 Supercrew with twin turbo'd 6 cylinder ecoboost. I leveled the truck and put 33" on it which is only 1/2-3/4" taller tire than factory. Towing a 21' Ranger i am getting 12-13 mpg at 65-70mph. Not towing - highway 17-19 and in town 14-15.
I have never got the 21 to 23 mpg's reported by a lot of ecoboost owners, but will agree that it has plenty of torque. I sold a 3500 cummins that got better mileage than the new 1/2 ton but the ergonomics and comfort out weigh the mileage difference for me...

07 Tundra 5.7 liter. Houston to Possum Kingdom last weekend with a 21 foot Triton. Averaged 12.2 @ 75mph. Would have been lower but had a good tailwind coming home after the norther blew through.

I have a 2010 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 and I get on avg. 12 mpg pulling my Ranger. I have gotten as low as 11.7 and as high as 13.2 it all depends on wind, terrain, and interstate driving or not. Also I get better mpg with Exxon gas than any of the others but I'm not sure why unless it's just a better grade of gas. Bought my Tundra in Feb. 2010 and have not had one problem with it. 2012 4x4 Tundra double cab, 20 skeeter fx, millage is about the same as this, I think it varies 2 mpg or more up if you can get 0% ethanol

Man up. Fight the GOOD fight.

I am trying to find the right tow vehicle. If you could post your truck plus any additions youve made and your towing mpg pulling a bass boat that would be great. 2008 Dodge 4wd 2500 Mega Cab, auto. No Mods...14 mpg all day long towing my BassCat Pantera 4 Dual Console.

The ecoboost I just traded in I could get 14 mpg all day pulling a 20ft champion. Around 20-20.5 on hwy.
Just got a new diesel and don't have enough time on it to get some numbers.

I have 1800 miles on my 4x4 ecoboost so I don't have enough miles on it to tell much except I am probably going to trade it in since it vibrates pretty bad when towing doing 70mph.

I had one new truck for a year with bad brakes before the dealership was forced to buy it back and the very next truck had the transmission stop shifting with eight miles on the odometer and was still messed up after a dozen trips to the shop, it would stop shifting every 1000 miles, I wont bother doing any of that again. I have read on several sites about people with new ford f150s vibrating and the dealerships not being any help.

About to go fetch a used Wellcraft with my Durango (5.9 V8, 3.92 rear axle, 4x4) from Louisiana. Expecting about 11-12mpg based on the owners manual information. Will report back on the real number - without the 25% - when I get back

I have a 2010 Ford F-250 4 x 4 with the Power Stroke diesel. Factory set up, no changes or additions. City mileage is around 14, pulling my 21' Ranger is also at 14. Highway mileage with cruise control set between 65-70 (no boat) is 21-22. Much better than what I was getting with a 2004 Chevy 3/4 ton Dura-Max 4 x 4.

2000 Dodge 2500 Quad Cab diesel.
20 plus non towing.
16 to 17 towing the Allison. The boat is on the light side for a 20 footer. Its about what most 18 footer weigh.
These got that, not the newer ones.
