I have seen them both out on the lake (JD and Chris) and always a boat full of smiles no matter which one you see. I have never fished with either one of them but have friends who have fished with both.

I'm with FastGuy.... It isn't about artificial vs. bait. Some of the year artificial is all you need. Other times, bait does better.
I've fished artificial with JD and live bait. Whatever is catching fish is what he will recommend. If you want to chunk lures all day that is less work for him, but he does this for a living so I'd listen to him.
I've heard great things about Chris Carey though I've never met the man. It is hard to fool TFFers for too long so he's got to be worth his salt.
I will give you JD's phone number because I happen to have it handy. It's 903-647-0386.
Either way I'm jealous. I would love nothing more than to catch some big 'ol Texoma stripers hitting some top waters right now!

Don't know who the best is but STAY AWAY from Dan Barnett! Bad guide and a worse attitude.

My buddies always tell me I'm the worst fishing guide on texoma. But I think I'm the cheapest unless someone is paying people to go fishing with them.
