 SD card from Humminbird to a Lowrance

How do I get the waypoints that are saved on an sd card from my 1197 to my new Lowrance? I put the card in but nothing happens.

Download GPSBabel (Google it to get website)to convert from Hummingbird to Lowrance format. Not sure what Lowrance unit you have but will need to go through menu's to have it load the waypoint file from the SD card---don't think it will do it just because card is inserted.

Not sure what Lowrance unit you have but will need to go through menu's to have it load the waypoint file from the SD card---don't think it will do it just because card is inserted. +1 You will have to convert the files using some third party software.

Lowrance to Hummingbird to Garmin to .... lots of formats. Handy tool and it is free.
