just curious when does the croaker run start? like catching them. i believe i heard it starts in october. does anyone know??

Boy I sure would like to know that one too.
I've been catching big croakers at the local park here in Baytown, I'm thinking they are gearing up for the run.

What local park? I have heard of the park but I have not been able to find it.

Roseland Park, off of Texas Avenue.
There are a couple other parks that are along Goose Creek that produce regularly, also fishing by the bridge by the boat ramp off of business 146, next to the Marina.
