My wife and I are planning a trip to the coast next week. I'll be bringing one of our 24ft bay boats. Any suggestions on where to go? I was thinking Port Oconner but I'm open to suggestions. We're wanting to catch anything we can but want to go offshore. I'm not too experienced fishing offshore so feel free to spell it out.
Thanks
Any guides down that way I might be interested in trading a crappie trip if your interested.

Go to Port A. It's been years since I've been there. Always had a great time. See ya back on the lake, that's if the water goes up. Have a great time, you need the time off.

Well it looks like we're headed to Port O Conner. My plan is to fish the wrecks or rigs for Kings and anything else that wants to bite. I'm taking my 24ft Skeeter so I'll prob not get to go out to where the tuna are. Hopefully the seas will stay calm for us. Anyone have a recent report they want to share or any helpful advise?

Chuck,

We have met several times in passing at tournaments. I have moved down to Port Aransas 6 months ago with my business. We have a 35' Bertram and have gone out 4 times a week for 6 months. Catching King, Wahoo, Snapper, Sailfish, Mahi, Shark... Call me if your down and ill tell you where to go as I know your tips on the crappie through your post have helped me out tremendously. Or you can email me at cody@texasenergyenterprises.com

Have a good trip!
