My father and his first catch on Monday morning with a Chinese style crappie pole and 6 lb test. The season is on:)

it's ~11 pounder, luckily a net was nearby. We've been skunked in the past two hot hot hot weeks and finally the fish turned on:)

We've got to upgrade the line and always bring a net from now on . We also got some catfish and largemouth, but their size are not impressive at all. We haven't got any white bass in the past month yet although shads are everywhere. With the all the shads, are they too full to bite?
