 Crystal Beach Giant stingray!!!!

This weekend we made our annual shark trip, with a couple caught. But what really made the trip was something else. My buddy and I were BSing when we heard a guy yell at us. We looked towards the ocean to see a guy laying on our line. Our 6/0 rod and reel was being dragged out to sea. We ran and grabbed the rod from him and the fight was on. There was around 20ft of line left on the reel, so my buddy alex began running towards the second sandbar to respool some line. After around an hour we got the giant to the second sandbar where i go out and find out exactly what it was. they didnt believe me when i stretched my arms out as wide as i could and said it was a stingray. we finally got him to the first sandbar where i wrapped the steel wire leader around my arms and dragged the beast to shore. We had a very large group of beach goers watching us and taking pictures for us. thanks everyone!In the pics are Me Chris Buck and my buddy Alex Hardy! Final measurements nose to tail 6ft6in. width 5ft.

Looks like a cow ray. Caught one of those in Panama City that went about 80lbs and 4 ft across.
