Ride135 is very stable. It has never felt like it was going to tip on me. It's stable enough that I can stand, jump in and climb back in it by simply pulling myself up from the side. Also the speed is decent too. It tracks very good and the seat can be adjust forward or backward to trim it out.

Diablo Adios hands down IMO. Great wide kayak with enough stability that anyone can stand comfortably and fish. Fly fisherman love the Adios for these reasons. Let me know if you want to paddle one. It really is an awesome yak.

Any of the Malibu's, Wildy Ride's, Diablo's, Wildy Commanders....had a chance to use one of the 140's for a few days, that is one stable craft!!!, most of the Native's, and even their reasonably priced Redfish are very stable. Of course the Hobie Pro Angler...it's like fishng on a Bass Boat. I'm starting to find there are very few bad kayaks.

These are kayaks I consider to be primarily bought for their stability characteristics.
Cobra: Fish-n-Dive Diablo: Adios & Chupacabra Freedom Hawk: Freedom and Pathfinder Hobie: Outback and Pro Anglers Jackson: Coosa and Big Tuna Kajun Custom: K12 Kiwi: Angler Malibu: Extreme, X-Factor, Stealths, Pro-Explorer, and Mini-X Native Watercraft: Ultimates, Mariners, and Slayer (potentially) Nucanoe: Nucanoe and Frontier Ocean Kayak: Malibu Two, Big Game, and Caper Santa Cruz: Raptors Wavewalk: 500 and 502 Wilderness Systems: Rides and Commanders

I would think the Pro Angler 14 would top the list. The Pro angler 12 is two feet shorter and looses a little stability that the 14 has but is still very stable. The Outback is a very stable kayak also.

I can say that the Hobie Pro Angler 14 is a very stable platform. I had the opportunity to fish this weekend and fished standing for 90% of the day. I was not concerned with tipping and I was fishing a lake with a ton of cover. If you would like to try the PA 14 shoot me a PM and I will let you demo it.

Well I've yet to try a PA14, I did try a PA12 and thought it was very stable.

I am obviously primarily acquainted with the kayaks that our store carries so here, based on personal experience, are my suggestions for uber-stable fishing platforms: Hobie Pro Angler 12 & 14, Hobie Outback, Hobie i9 & i12 Inflatables, Wildy Ride 115 & 135, any Malibu, NuCanoe Frontier 12, Kajun Cayak KC-12, Ultimate 12 & 14.5. We have quite a few others that are very stable but IMHO, the ones listed above have the most stability.
BTW..many of these kayaks will be splashed at the Fall TFF G2G at Grapevine on the 29th. Come to the event and take one out for a personal demo.

I use the following a Coosa, Cuda and Big Tuna all made by Jackson Kayak, all three are very stable.
But I think anyone on here would tell you to try them out, every kayak is differant for each person.
The G2G is coming up this month at Grapevine a excellant opportunity to try them out.

I agree with pav once again. I paddle a big tuna and i am 6'6" 320. Being such a big guy and wanting stand and fish i thought i might have to go back to a bass boat! Until i stepped in a tuna. But everyone is different and partial to different yaks. The KI demo day is Saturday the 15th and we will have all the Jacksons out. If your interested in Jackson at all come out to paddle point in rowlett Saturday and try them out.

I am open to suggestions, but I'm not sure there is another yak in which you can potentially stand up in to fish and weighs less than 40lbs, making it easy to get it to the small out of the way places I like to go to throw a fly.
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

i have had a minix since i started kayaking about 5 years ago and will always keep it. super stable and light. throw in the back of suv and take off. i never stand in a kayak so dont know much about that, but it would be hard to flip a minix by sitting. i have never come close. mini is not fast but a great 2nd kayak to have. i use in creeks and short lake trip distances.
