 Any news on Dunlap?

Has anyone been out and know how the fishing has been? Is the water level up or down? Any news would help since I'm thinking about going out tomorrow morning.

Been disappointing for me for about....ummm...3 years now. Always catch fish, but PB there is only 3.5 lbs. water level is normal and ranged from 84 to 78 last weekend. Good luck and let us know how you do if you go.

fished it about a week ago or so. Nothing to write home about major shad bloom, they were crushing the top first thing but are VERY selective.
The clearer water had a lot of aquarium style heartbreak going on. Lots of big fish following baits but no committers.
I did manage a 7.77 outta placid a week earlier as well as a handful of guads and other fish with Will-I-Am

Hmmm... maybe I'll wait until next weekend when the reports sound a little more promising and my motivation is higher based on the reports.

Man I was wanting to hit up Dunlap for the first time tomorrow I remember as a kid having decent luck by the dam near 35

We struggled today. In our small club tournament, heaviest stringer was about 15#.

Was out there last night just messing with the boat. Caught a decent largemouth with blue/white crank bait. Not bad for only 15 minutes of fishing. Also had a nice guy on a wave runner come with in 10 feet of the boat and sprayed us with my 4 and 2 year old girls on the boat. Not cool at all. The idiot was flying in just at dusk and purposely did this. Then met him at the boat ramp. Grown man acting like an idiot. Had to let it go though because not much good would have come from it, not with my two daughters there. I know to expect this in the summer there but on a Friday night with hardly any one on the water.
Got his tag numbers license. Anything I can do with this, or just let it go. Some people.......

Did try calling game warden that night but none of them answered the phone. Will keep an eye out for him next time I am out there.

sherrifs got a couple of boats, and they always answer. i bet the wardens are plenty busy with dove season in full swing.
