How does one keep an aluminum trailer from floating when loading and unloading? Thanks for the nonsarcastic answers...Adios

Just don't back it too deep into the water. I have owned 3 alum trailers. one with tandum axles and two with singles. the tandum would always wanted to float if I put it in deep.

The tire rims, fenders, axles, leaf springs, u-bolts, and the weight of the wooden bunks probably keep them down.

My galv. trailer floats if I back it in to deep.  Must be the air in the tires.  BigDozer66
