Was thinking what blew in today might drop the water temps slightly and get em' a little active for the weekend. What do y'all think?

I think it depends if it brings a little cloud cover or not. I dont fair to well with the bright, post frontal skies.

The front will turn them on for sure but without cloud cover it may not last long. On the day of that last front a couple weeks ago, my partner and I boated around 50 in the rain on lake grapevine. They were turned on all day. Caught a 6 pounder on a large yellow magic! It was an epic day but it was cloudy all day and not so windy. I'm afraid tomorrow will be clear skies and 25 mph. Good luck!

Fish before the front....then go home and cook what you caught after the winds shift.

Got a spot on my first cast thought is was gonna be a good day for bites. Nothing after that...besides a couple bites. I could only see the fish on my graph right on the thermocline. 40 ft down in 45-60 ft of water. Spent the day learning my graph. Saw a ton of fish, though. I also figured out that I cant catch suspended bass for [censored]!

This morning I was concerned with the wind from the north, but caught 14. Two of those were by dragging the bottom with a craw and a finesse worm. The rest were on square bill. watched a YouTube video with Rick Clune. Deployed his tactic of the importance of hitting the bank and reeling like crazy in a fast stp and go presentation. Square bills are awesome!

Going to some heavily stocked private tanks in the morning. Very excited about the pleasant
wheather.
