Well I can't seem to find a crankbait that also has good hooks on them so I'm going to start changing them. Just wondering which hooks yall tend to use?

Best way I have found to tell if a hook is sharp is to rub the point across my thumb nail with very light pressure. Dull hooks will just slide across but sharp ones will dig in a little. Don't recall where I saw this, but seems to work.

I change out the front hooks with red mustad short shank triple grips. Usually leave the back hook alone unless it gets dull then I use a regular mustad ss triple grip.

Owner for the smaller type and VMC Barbarian for the larger cranks. I started switching out to the Barbarian hooks about a year ago and the more I use them the more I like them.

on 1.5 size ones I like KVD triple grip on front and either a round bend gammy or the excalibur TX3 round bend on back. I like the excaliburs, they are tough, sharp and cheaper than most.
