Make sure you do not have anything obstructing the reception, like a ram mount over it or even fishing rods, I have had both make the signal get lost and then found.

Hmm..what year is your Lowrance ?...I had an 05 LCX25C that was RAM mounted from the factory on the consol and had the GPS receiver mounted about 10 from it and I kept getting the same issue I would lose signalafter working with Lowrance on it , it was found the GPS receiver was too close to the unit causing interference !...I moved the receiver to the bow of the boat and the problem went awayI believe they corrected that issue on the later models. Good Luck with yours.

Had the same issue.First of all,as mentioned in a previous post, check the power with a volt meter...If thats not the issue, check the y-cable,there is a schematic online...The pucks ususally dont go bad,its ususally power ,cable...Mine was it wasnt getting power...If the ram mount is obstructing, you will get a message lost position, not gps not responding...Good luck, you will get it...
