The fish are in the grass, but not as far back in the creeks as you were fishing. My buddy and I caught about 12 on the edge of the grass in 3 foot of water on Friday, from daylight til noon. But, deep water was close by. That is the key right now on fork.

Fished Fork today. We had 25-30 fish, nothing giant, had 4 or 5 between 4 and 7 lbs. I usually fish Fork a minimum of 10 days a month April thru September. But, this year I have only been on the lake 4 times since March.
I guess God blessed our day!

yeah i kind of meant it as a joke, actually went back out that night at our city lake and caught em pretty good so i feel a little better now, now on the subject of an air force guy whoopin a marine...

gosh i get skunked so often, i can't even remember the last time I caught a fish. sometimes i think about quitting and going back to being a mindless video game addict, for a second. then i remember how awesome it is just being out on the water with all the fun stuff that comes with it and i snap out of it

Billy, we thought that was you. Dylan asked, "is that the ol boy that put on the Holbrook tourney". Lol. We were the ones coming out of running creek from up under the bridge about 10am. Apologies for not coming by to say hello but i wasn't sure if it was you or not. Hate to hear you guys had a tough morning. You will get em next time!

There are always fish in grass period!!!!!!!!!!!! especially when the lake is starting to turn over and oxygen levels are fluctuating. Grass=oxygen, food and cover
