I heard that there were some large bluegills in the lake. Can anyone direct me to what area you can catch them and what boat ramps you can use? I have never fished this lake. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have never fished Lake Arlington. There are a few anglers in the Dallas area who post in the section. Hopefully a couple of em who have fished that lake will reply. In the meantime I would go to Google and get some information there. You can also get the current satellite images of the lake as well which will show structure, tree lines, boat ramps, and other vital parts of the lake. The gills I am catching in the San Antonio area lakes are located by structure such as docks, sunken trees, and drop offs. The fish are in 8 to 12 feet of water. Good luck and let us know how you do.

I have been finding some nice gills in the creek and working the docks. You can put in at bowman springs or Arkansas lane. The water level is real low and Arkansas lane would be a better spot to put in with the low water. I have been mostly grasshoppers and night crawlers on a slip bobber, from 2 to 10 foot. It's a private lake, pay by the day or year boats only.
