I have:
04 Ford F350 FX4 Crew Cab Short Bed
V-10
430 Gears
Stock 16" Tires
66,000 Miles

I have had this since new and it has always rode rough.
So what I want to do is either put a Leveling Kit or a 3" Lift with a bigger 16" tire .
But what I want more than looks IS A Much Softer Ride!

Anybody with Suggestions or past Experiences?

Normally, when you go to lifting trucks, the ride gets worse

You aren't going to get a soft ride from truck.
An F350 is made to carry 2,000 lb or more. If empty it will always ride rough.

Have you changed shocks? The yellow Bilsteins made a difference in my Dodge.

Yep your right, I'm looking at this the wrong way.

I should look at new Leaf Springs, Shocks.

^^^^^^^

I replaced my springs a while back. Can't remember at what mileage but probably somewhere around 100,000. At that time I started using the Rancho 6000 shocks. The adjustment on the shocks can make a big difference.

If you plan on having the truck for a while, I would recommend the adjustable shocks that you can control from a module inside the cab.

I have the 02 F250, 7.3, 4X4, 305,000+

Only other thing I can think of is putting air bags on it, supposed to help ride alot both loaded and unloaded.

Personaly I think you should sell the truck and get a car, sounds like its more in line with what you want.
