Daughter turned 16 this year and all our auto insurance went up - especially on my F250. We have 4 vehicles and she will NEVER drive the F250. Should I try to get a separate policy on the F250 for just me and my wife or what would you recommend to get that back down to a reasonable rate?

Many insurance companies have adopted the practice of spreading the risk throughout the household. This means that they are rating each driver on each vehicle. Since you need to list each licensed driver on your policy I would suggest to my customer to do exactly what you said. I would split that one vehicle off of the other policy and list your daugher as an EXCLUDED driver for that one unit and that one policy. Of course this also means that if for some reason she did end up driving the vehicle and had an accident, it would not be covered.
