You are picking a bad weekend to fish that lake. Its going to be packed with boats becuase of the holiday weekend...Good luck though!

Crago is right, very bad weekend to fish eagle mountain, it's the #2 party lake in dfw! Lewisville is #1, I would fish a small lake of a very brushy lake that skiers and jet fleas don't like. If u still go to eagle mountain, be very careful.

Ha! The whole lake is full of shad. We haven't had to hunt down shad in the last 80 trips.

Find a spot in 2-8' of water and you'll catch bait. If you're going to fish this weekend I suggest you do it North of Lakeview marina. Good luck

thanks... its a busy weekend because guys like me that cant ever get out on the lake unless its a holiday... gotta get my fix somehow... im planning on heading out in the afternoon to find some spots and bait and fish till a little after dark! as the great gavin dawson would say "if you see, me beer me"!
