Hey gang,

Many moons ago I used to comment in this section daily. Now I mostly stalk. However I have noticed most of my old friends either do the same or have all but gone away. I know most of us have a life and we may dissapeare for a while and return so this is a hey gand where yall at post.

Badassbaits, Deck Hand, Texas Fly Caster, Kelkay, Derik D, Pond Bass, the muscle car guy, hook line and sinker and all the others I cant think of off the top of my head. How yall been and whats going on?

I'v started several companies, stoped playing pool and traveling and Im finnaly finding time to fish again.

Hope fortune has found all of you and Im sure most are too busy fishing to post. Or so we hope.....

Sincerely,
Alex R.

Still around, traveling more these days. In the Hill Country thru Labor Day, but no fishing planned, tho I'll be tying flies every day for the next two weeks.

Reports of my forum-demise have been greatly exaggerated. I look longingly at my fly-poles every time I pull my car into the garage. The Ween sits in its lonely place in the driveway. SWTRHWMBO has a remodel goin' on and I was drafted. My conscientious objector status was not recognized.

No, I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!

Still here. Just roping more and fishing a little less. Incidentally, the Brazos below Whitney is fishing really well in the afternoons. Just look for hovering dragonflies and splat your fly right below it.
