For you guys that use Benbrook marina, you may want to start using mustang ramp, I went last night. Almost didn't get the boat out of marina. Less than a foot deep at the dock, and coming out of marina. Might have a week at tops for the smaller boats, that may be pushing it.

Oh, as far as the report........ It was slow grin

Hurray! It's time for the yaks to own the lake! smile this morning there was about 5 fishing boats and one recreational boat out by mustang. Hopefully they start jumping in my yak!

And so it begins, yet again.....I heard a lot of lakes out in west Texas and a few up in the panhandle are all but dried up.

A 2oz slab lauched greatly reduces the number of times you get waked.

Yup. I launched last Sunday morning and immediately loaded the boat right back on the trailer. Too shallow. My trolling motor was churning up mud and I felt the bottom of the boat scraping the bottom. 18 foot bass boat.

Hey Nick,

If you wanna fish the mudhole known as Benbrook, you can use mustang ramp for maybe a couple more weeks. Just stay close to bank after launching till you get around the point out into main lake, lots of Forrest.

Where did you try to launch?
