Sometimes, but usually just when I'm fishing creeks. I'll use night crawlers, too. But since I've started targeting blues almost exclusively I use shad/perch/buff 99% of the time. I have caught a blue on livers (8lbs on Twok) but why use livers when there's plenty of shad for the taking?

Thats about all I use Foureyedturd! I believe you cant find a more reliable bait that chicken livers! I always catch fish on them when nothing else works! They are cheap and perfect for verticle fishing. Even if you want to cast them out, there are rigs that allow you to do so without slinging them off!

Huge believer in them! Ask outdoor writer Luke Clayton how I feel bout them!

Pantyhose work wonders with Chicken Liver. you can cast as hard and far as you want and never have to worry about losing them. When its time to rebait all you do is take it off the hook and put them back in the tub with all the blood and there good to go again after awhile......Unless a Gar grabs it.....

let them dry out in the sun for a couple hours before you use them. Makes them tougher and harder to steal. Or you could save yourself the hassle and use punchbait. $5 tub of danny kings or whatever else will put fish on the bank pretty quick.

I thank God for each day!

Coleman lantern mantles work really good for keeping them on the hook and less work than pantyhose.
