i have a power drive v2 trolling motor and is compatible with this. although i think u can only use the hand remote if you have it connected and the pedal is non functional.. i would love to have the electric anchor feature is it worked. thoughts?

That is the one option that sells the unit. The rest of it's operations takes some adjustment.

I will never own another boat with any other trolling motor....I will be removing a brand new Fortrex 101 from my 2012 z522 if anybody wants to buy it.

I borrowed my buddies boat with one and ended driving around in circles (he provided zero instruction) but man after I figured out it was bad [censored]. The anchor feature is slick!

Yes he does fished with Jay friday and after fishing with that trolling motor , it does not seem fair not to have one, he would set it and it kept you on your spot they are slick and he knows what he's doing caught some good fish

So. Is it on the power drive v2? Makes it where u can't use the foot pedal right? That an issue?

The trolling motor works off GPS positioning and can hold your boat in one spot adjusting itself automatically for wind drift. For me it allows the whole boat to be used for fishing. It will also remember your favorite routes and can be recalled so you may fish with no adjustments to motor unless you want to hold a position by hitting the anchor button. There is no need to stand in the front point of your boat and you can always stand on two legs.
Maybe I should be a sales rep?

Remote clips on your belt loop. Also comes with a foot pedal that I keep in the boat just incase my remote stops working.

As far as response, when you hit the button its immediate.

I bought one within days of returning to the metroplex after fishing with Jay and seeing how it worked. I am still not an expert with it but so far I can not see having another troller.
