recent reports that i've heard are saying the fishing has been tough. also, lodging is limited due to oil boom in that country. check the thread in fresh water reports.

I been wanting to get back down there but haven't had time. went in may and caught fish but nothing over 3lbs. not quite what it used to be but its still a good lake. Is the grass looking good down there? back in 06-07 there were huge beds in it! i miss that kinda fishing. lots of grass and clear water back then.

Virtually no grass in the lake . Fishing very tough 16lbs. Won an open tourn. As where usually 20lbs. Needed to place fish deep points. There were an 8,7 and we weighed in a 6#14oz bass that had a 10lb. Head
